Julian Fraize has a professional and educational background in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering. Julian received a Bachelor’s degree in Naval Engineering, and a Masters in Ocean Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology. Over the past three years Julian has worked as a consulting Engineer primarily serving the U.S. merchant fleet. He also has unique direct experience with offshore wind technology development having worked directly with projects seeking to provide Jones Act compliant solutions to the WTIV bottleneck, as well as providing marine engineering support for a now complete NOWRDC project. Julian’s work at the consortium includes project management, technical overview and review of projects, and consulting with states to manage stakeholder engagement and region-specific offshore wind related research.
