Christine Sloan is the Deputy Executive Director of NOWRDC and is based on Long Island, NY. Prior to joining NOWRDC in 2020, Christine completed a Sea Grant Knauss Marine Policy Fellowship with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration where she supported federal policy initiatives regarding coastal management and offshore wind. Christine’s background with state and federal agencies, offshore wind stakeholders, industry, and researchers has helped her become deeply familiar with the technology and innovation needs of the offshore wind industry and how to prioritize those needs to maximize economic and social benefits for the United States. She received her Master’s of Marine Policy from the University of Delaware.
