Synopsis:

This project will develop an intelligent blade leading edge (LE) health estimation and prognostics model geared towards enabling condition-based maintenance strategy for offshore wind turbines.

Target Outcomes:

Evaluate the feasibility of utilizing physics-based models (digital twins) to augment the limited operational data available.

Integrate physics-based models with advanced artificial intelligence (AI) & machine learning (ML) techniques to ensure the estimation and prognostics model to be accurate and effective.
